Sibsey Windmill
Built in 1877, to replace an earlier post mill, this six-storey mill is undergoing major conservation to restore its cap, fantail and six sails, and to bring it back into working order.
Only in Conservation Architecture can we get to visit a site where machinery, building, man and the elements work seamlessly together. Sibsey Trader Mill, Lincolnshire is a Grade I listed building (also a Scheduled Monument) we are restoring and repairing on behalf of our clients, English Heritage in order that our amazing industrial heritage can be preserved for future generations.
Shot (and drove to) in a day, the weather was changeable constantly. I had to be opportune and adaptable to ensure I got the shots, and got the drone up too.
