The Cornwall Retreat

A really special shoot I had the pleasure of capturing over the summer; a beautifully designed, detail-rich coastal home in Cornwall, crafted by the talented team at De Rosee Sa.

Located by the sea in Cornwall, this project brought together everything I love: thoughtful residential architecture, calm interiors, and a strong connection to nature. We started the day with a swim in the sea, which is my new pre-requisite for all future shoots ;). The natural soundscape, recorded while knee-deep in the water, became an integral part of the final film.

The home itself is composed of simple pitched volumes, clad in timber with a slate roof and lime-rendered base. A master suite tucked into the roofline keeps the scale sympathetic to nearby homes, while the wildflower landscaping and Cornish stone paths allow the building to settle quietly into its clifftop surroundings.

This film blends architectural video production with subtle lifestyle videography, designed for architects and interior designers who want their work captured with atmosphere, detail, and story.
