Purcell Conservation School

Purcell’s Conservation School is an annual introduction to building conservation, open to all members of staff eager to develop their skills and deepen their understanding of historic buildings and conservation practices. From physics, to materials, decorative, to design and functionality, this short film explores the school and impact it has on those who attend.

Over two days, we shot all around Canterbury Cathedral, around the city, attended lectures about conservation philosophy and techniques, and workshops on glass, lime and stone. Quickly switching photo/video was essential to cover all aspects and produce deliverables.
