London Museum

The Museum of London is being constructed in the Victorian Smithfield Market buildings. In early 2024, I got to take a tour of the new London Museum (Formerly Museum of London) with The London Society, led by Paul Williams of Stanton Williams.

The photos and video show the two main areas of the museum, and down into the depths of the old Smithfield markets, with the newly discovered brick vaults.

The site was a hive of activity, and we only got about an hour to explore. This demonstrates what is possible with minimal time, direction, and equipment.
